In 1158, the rider Alberto da Giussano is saved by Frederick I of Hohenstaufen, the Emperor Barbarossa. Alberto continues with his life for peace in the family, while Barbarossa pursues his dream of achieving the universal empire. It is essential for the control over the rebel towns of North Italy and March 10, 1162 for this invades Milan, with the imperial troops, razed to the ground.
